With the decorations now down and the New Year firmly underway, we’re excited to be implementing a broad range of new features and services during the first quarter of 2019, the first of which being the launch of a new product range from the long established Swedish company, Sundström.
Here at Training and Testing Services, we’re always looking to identify new products for our E-commerce store that will compliment perfectly the range of Face Fit training courses we provide. Established in 1926 by Ivan Sundström, the company has remained true to its family heritage, now being run by the third generation of the Sundström family.
Ivan Sundström was a mining engineer at a time when Health and Safety was barely in its infancy. Many miners back in the 1920’s suffered from eye and respiratory issues, many of which could be fatal if ignored. Ivan, wanting to make a difference, developed his business and helped to supply miners with the necessary breathing and eye protection equipment, helping to prevent injury. He became one of the early few leading the way forward with regard to health and safety in the work place. Fast forward over 90 years and Sundström are still helping to lead the way with their superb suite of products.
Sundström’s broad product range, which includes half face, full face and hooded masks, is developed around the principal of ensuring user comfort without compromising the wearer’s safety. This enables an excellent range of movement, meaning that the wearer can move more freely and not feel restricted by the necessary safety protection.
