Our train the trainer course has been approved by the British Abrasives Federation (BAF). The BAF are the only organisation mentioned in HSE document HSG17 – Safety in the Use of Abrasive Wheels.

What to look for in abrasive wheel training

When looking for a training provider, what exactly should you look for? As per the HSE guidance there is no substitute for thorough practical training. Any training should cover the practical elements. In addition to this the HSE document HSG17 states 9 points that any abrasive wheel training should cover. The document references the BAF as an organisation to refer to when looking for training. Currently we are 1 of only 2 companies in the UK able to deliver training in all abrasive wheel applications.

BAF Accredited Abrasive Wheel Instructors

All our abrasive wheel trainers are accredited by the British Abrasives Federation. This means when you attend our abrasive wheel instructor course you are being trained to the BAF standard.

Our abrasive wheel instructor course will be tailored to your requirements. There are many abrasive wheel types and abrasive wheel machines out there. This means that the variety of training is vast. We offer a bespoke training programme to cover the machinery that you use. In addition to this our training package covers the main generic types but you can purchase additional training materials. Whether you use precision grinders, floor saws, angle grinders, bench pedestal, petrol driven cut off saws, battery driven cut off saws or more then we have a package to suit your needs.
